What is a company group?
A company group is a saved list of companies that a campaign can reach. See how your own groups differ from the default groups shared with every team.

A company group is a saved list of companies. Groups are how you choose who a campaign reaches: a campaign's audience is one or more groups.
Open Companies → Groups in the sidebar. There are two tabs.
Custom: your team's groups
Groups your team builds and owns, from:
- Companies search results;
- a finished Deep Search;
- the group's own Add companies dialog.
You can rename, edit and delete them. Changing them needs the Moderator role or higher.
A custom group holds up to 1,000 companies.
Default: the shared library
Ready-made groups that Signalsant maintains, shared with every team. For example, groups built around an audience such as "Startups", "Marketing" or "Sales".
- Each card shows what the group is for and how many companies it has. Open one to see the rules it uses as chips, such as "Has email" or "Rating ≥ 4".
- Many update themselves on a schedule, shown for example as "Updated 3 hours ago · daily".
- You can't edit them, but you can use any of them as a campaign audience.
Use the audience chips and Search the library to find one.
What a group shows
Open a group to see:
- how many companies it has;
- how many have a sendable email, for example "120 with a sendable email · 8 undeliverable · 15 unverified";
- the list of companies, which you can search and narrow with the Company Index filter.
Good to know
- Deleting a group doesn't delete its companies.
- A company can be in many groups. A campaign that uses several groups contacts each company only once.
- Your team can't create rule-based groups that update themselves; only the shared library has those.
- Groups can't be exported, merged or imported from CSV.
