A campaign works through its audience in rounds. In each round, every company is contacted at most once.
Default: contact each company once
With Allow resends off (recommended), every company is contacted once. When everyone has been reached, the campaign stops planning, and the Schedule tab says "Everyone in this audience has been contacted".
To go again, click Start new round. You can't start one while emails from the current round are still scheduled: let them send, or clear those days first.
Allow resends: start new rounds automatically
Turn on Allow resends, either in Sending → Repeat contact or under Email → Settings. Once everyone has been contacted, you can also use Auto-start new rounds on the Schedule tab.
With it on, a new round starts by itself once:
- every email of the previous round has gone out; and
- at least 7 days have passed since that round's last email.
That gap stops a company getting two emails from the same campaign in quick succession.
What rounds don't cover
- The 7-day gap applies only to automatic rounds. Start new round starts one straight away.
- Rounds are per campaign. Two different campaigns can contact the same company. Avoid overlapping audiences if that matters to you.
- Signalsant doesn't send follow-up sequences. A new round sends the campaign's email again; it isn't a follow-up to the first.
Troubleshooting
- "… messages are still scheduled in this round": wait until they're sent, or use Clear N unsent on those days.
- A company got the same email twice: check whether Allow resends is on, and whether the company is in two of your campaigns.
